Copenhagen Photo Festival: Censored Exhibition 2018

Honored to be one of 24 international photographers who were selected by the jury out of 449 submissions to The Censored Exhibition at Copenhagen Photo Festival 2018.

I'll be exhibiting artwork from my ongoing project 'The Lost Art of Conversation'. The series was inspired by the rise of social media and the seemingly ever-increasing need to edit our lives online. With too many of us spending time staring at our mobile devices - even when we’re supposedly together with others - actual conversation between people seems doomed to become a lost art. The series intends to shed light on this lack of face-to-face communication by way of emotive images that divulge a contrast between focussed reality and hazed remoteness.

So. Here's to small-talk, silent whispers or loud discussions; any kind of verbal exchange that's 100% in the here-and-now...
